Quentin Tavern
Like sands through the hourglass.....
so have the past five years.
Here we are, five years later and still going strong.
Let's celebrate together
to kick off the next five in style. |

Our History
Dating back to the late 1700's, the Quentin Tavern was originally built as a manor house of a very large estate,
associated with either the Penn Family or the Coleman Family. In the 1840's, the manor house was converted into a tavern
and rest stop for those traveling the Great Conestoga Road (from Philadelphia to Lancaster) and the Forbes Road
(from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh). These two roads were eventually joined together for the "Pennsylvania Road,"
which help facilitate the great migration westward. The by-way was, in large, part of the precursor to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Featuring two-foot thick stone walls and historically significant architecture, the tavern has undergone significant renovation
while still maintaining its post-colonial charm. Our menu and atmosphere have been specifically designed to make your visit
both enjoyable and affordable. During the warmer months, take a break and relax on our deck shaded by a magnificent 200-plus year-old
catalpa tree. Enjoy a refreshing frozen drink, your favorite ice cold draft beer, and one of our soon-to-be-famous Belly-Bustin' Burgers
and Panini sandwiches. Take your time to enjoy the fellowship of friends and to make new ones, all while enjoying the attentive service
and excellent tavern-style food that won't break your budget.
The spirit of our old colonial tavern lives on — eat, drink and be merry!
We hope you enjoy your experience here and we look forward to seeing you again and again.
